I’m Linda Burney,
Member for Barton
Minister for Indigenous Australians.

I’m your representative for our diverse community of Barton.

I’m working hard in Government to make our community a better place to live.

We're taking action on the cost of living and strengthening Medicare.

We're supporting quality education and creating well-paid jobs.

Let's make Barton an even stronger and fairer community together.

Our Work

The Albanese Labor Government is tackling the challenges facing Australia today, and we are building for a better future.

A future where the doors of opportunity are open to all.

No one held back and no one left behind.

As a government, we're focused on:

  • Cost of living relief
  • Strengthening Medicare
  • Providing quality education – from cheaper child care through to TAFE and university
  • Creating secure, well-paid jobs
