About the Electorate of Barton

About the Electorate of Barton Main Image

The Electorate of Barton is on the lands of the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Darug and Dharawal peoples.

We acknowledge their continuing connection to the lands, waters and communities of this area, spanning tens of thousands of years.

We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.

I proudly represent the electorate of Barton, a diverse and multicultural electorate in Sydney.

Working together for a better Barton

With your help, we can make Barton an even stronger and fairer community. Here are some of the local issues that I'm fighting for:

  • Easing the cost of living
  • Strengthening Medicare
  • Quality education
  • Secure and well-paid jobs
  • Accessible NBN
  • Centrelink
  • Action on climate change

If you would like to have your say on the issues that matter to you, take my community survey here.
