Congratulatory Messages

Anniversaries are a very special time in our lives and should be celebrated. Australians celebrating a special wedding anniversary can receive personal congratulations from the Prime Minister, Governor-General or The King.

If you or someone you know is celebrating such a milestone my office can assist you with a letter or certificate of congratulations. I can also arrange a letter from the Prime Minister or the King for you or someone you care for.

You will need to provide relevant supporting documentation like birth certificates or marriage certificates. If these are not available you can provide a statutory declaration.

To arrange an anniversary message, please contact my office by phone on (02) 9587 1555, email linda.burney.mp@aph.gov.au or visit the office at Level 2, 24 Montgomery Street, Kogarah.

Generally you will need to provide at least two months notice if you would like a message from the King, the Governor-General, or the Prime Minister.
